September 20th 2024 - 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (GMT-4)
Online via Zoom
This online event will feature high-level discussions on three main themes:
- Earth vs. Space: What is collective humanity and pluralism?
- How can space education empower youth in understanding partnership and collaboration?
- Youth-led initiatives and the role of higher education in collective humanity and pluralism
The Interstellar Foundation's founder, Nick Searra, will co-moderate the event, facilitating dialogue between diverse stakeholders, including representatives from marginalized communities, academia, government, the private sector, UN agencies, and civil society organizations.
A highlight of the event will be the launch of a joint UNESCO IESALC & Interstellar Foundation call for collaboration on Youth Partnership Training. This groundbreaking program seeks to inspire the next generation of space explorers and innovators while promoting global collaboration and understanding.
This event represents a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between space exploration, education, and global cooperation, by bringing together such a diverse group of stakeholders, we hope to inspire new partnerships and initiatives that will shape the future of humanity both on Earth and beyond.
